How To Grow & Use Pet Grass
- Empty about 90% of the growing medium into the container. Add a little water to the growing medium and use the bamboo raker to level the soil. Distribute the seeds evenly on the top of the soil. Use the rest of the soil to add a thin layer that covers the seeds.
- Place the open container in a well lit spot (e.g. windowsill) but out of direct sunlight. Water immediately after planting and keep moist by mist spraying with a spray bottle once or twice per day.
- In about 7-14 days, your grass will be ready for your pets to enjoy. To promote continued growth, be sure to trim and water the grass regularly.
- Let your pets nibble directly from the tray. Most cats, dogs, and small animals love grazing naturally. If you prefer, you can also trim a small handful and add it to their food for a nutritious boost.
