100% Organic Amaranth Seeds

How to use

Amaranth seeds must be cooked and not eaten raw for full nutrient benefit. Prepare as a porridge: consider soaking the amaranth overnight before cooking, making the nutrients in the amaranth easier to digest and reducing cooking time. Boil amaranth with liquid as you would do rice (two and a half cups of liquid for every one cup of dried amaranth seeds). Simmer over low heat until the grains are fully cooked, about 20 minutes. 

Alternatively, pop amaranth on the stovetop, just like popcorn (no oil) for a snack or add popped amaranth to granola.

Note: After opening, store in a cool, dry place.
